Glover Precision is a woman-owned, AS9100 certified machining facility located in the Phoenix Metro Area of Arizona. We started making prototype parts for a variety of different markets in 2003 and have grown to service many different industries. These include Aerospace, Defense, Space, Medical, Industrial, Automotive, Oil, Gas and much more. We are continually seeking new challenges and ways to improve our process to best service all of the different customers that seek the absolute best manufacturing and quality from their suppliers. We have been growing year after year as we add new machines and capabilities to our facility. We specialize in machining complex parts and use machines such as Wire EDM, 5-Axis Machining Centers, Precision CNC turning and much more. Objectives of this Role Work with CAM software to engineer and manufacture prototype and low-production parts within the aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and robotic industries. Work with tight tolerancing and high level attention to detail Daily and Monthly Responsibilities Utilize principles of mathematics, science, and engineering to streamline processes Identify opportunities to prevent waste and inefficiency in production Machine prototype and small run parts to tight tolerances Handle machined parts with care to prevent blemish or scratches Create and maintain required manufacturing process documentation, including work travelers, First-Article Inspection (FAI) sheets, material and process certifications and more as needed Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain insight and direction Skills and Qualifications Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings to ASME Y14.5-2009 5+ years related CNC machining experience Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles Hands-on experience building small prototypes Proficiency with analytical tools, workflow time study, and process balancing Experience using MS suite, including Excel Experience with Engineering 3D models in MasterCAM or GibbsCAM Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree or vocational/trade school certification is a plus but not required Benefits Medical Insurance Tuition Assistance $40,000-$60,000 per year salary based on proven experience To apply, email resume to careers@gpiaz.com

We’re seeking an experienced quality assurance specialist to build upon this reputation with an unwavering commitment to meticulous production. The ideal candidate is an exceptionally organized, methodical professional with the experience necessary to take our products to the next level with respect to accuracy, security, and safety. You will be charged with maintaining a complete QA program that not only safeguards the quality of our products, but also fosters a “quality culture,” in which all employees become actively engaged in guaranteeing quality in both production and the finished product. Objectives of this Role Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards Carefully maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits Develop new standards for production and design, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation Identify training needs and take action to ensure company-wide compliance Pursue continuing education on new solutions, technology, and skills Daily and Monthly Responsibilities Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing product to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables Assist operations and local quality function in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels as well as CSR, environmental and health and safety goals/KPIs Analyze and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements Develop or update company complaint and inspection procedures to ensure capture and investigation, as well as proper documentation of complaints Monitor risk-management procedures, and maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and product development Provide training and support to quality assurance team on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes Skills and Qualifications Superb computer competence, including database management Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice Experience with high and tight tolerances in manufacturing Preferred Qualifications Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor a plus Benefits And Pay Scale Medical Insurance Tuition Assistance Pay Range $40,000-$60,000 Submit Resumes to Careers@gpiaz.com
